To avoid the crowds and the midday heat, we'll explore the shrine in the evening. It’s a short and informative tour at a great price! We will meet at the exit of JR Inari Station. After exiting, turn left, and you will see a Daily Yamazaki convenience store. Our meeting point will be in front of the Daily Yamazaki store.

First, you will begin by making yourself a type of Japanese traditional sweet called "Nerikiri". You will start the making process from the coloring of the white bean paste. You will continue with the Tea ceremony experience using Uji Matcha. Finally, you can enjoy the Japanese sweets you prepared along with your own Matcha tea. "Nerikiri" is a sort of high-grade Japanese sweet. It is made using colored white bean paste crafted in the shape of seasonal flowers/fruits. During this experience you will learn to make sushi of your choice or traditional Obanzai style dishes such as cooked and marinated mushrooms, pickled or slow-cooked seasonal vegetables and tofu dishes prepared the traditional way over an informative conversation with your host Emika in her cozy kitchen. Emika will also teach you to prepare traditional, homemade miso soup from scratch. The cooking portion of your experience may last about an hour before you enjoy the meal you prepared together. Emika's family owns an organic vegetable field where she harvests most of the vegetables that she uses in her cooking. This is a workshop where you can make spoons from pure silver. I think it's rare to find a workshop where you can make cutlery from pure silver. Since ancient times, silver has been considered a talisman to ward off misfortune and evil spirits. There is also a custom of giving a silver spoon to a baby to wish them happiness. Please rest assured that our craftsmen will carefully assist you. Place the finished spoon in a paulownia box. I think it would be great as a souvenir for yourself or a gift for a loved one!

We will give you the kimono FOR FREE as a gift. The kimonos we provide are from the personal collection of a certified kimono dresser. All of the kimonos are made from high-quality fabrics and feature elegant, traditional designs that align with Japanese aesthetics. After the kimono dresser helps you put on the kimono, you are free to explore and take photos outside. The nearest attractions to us are Daitoku-ji Temple and Kinkaku-ji Temple.
