Our dynamic team of cooks, tutors and interpreters will guide our guests on a voyage of discovery of traditional cooking, preparing the most typical of the local dishes, home made pasta with sauces of organic seasonal vegetables from our kitchen garden, melt in the mouth home made gnocchi, bruschetta, second courses like Vin Santo chicken or eggplant parmigiana, delicious desserts.. .all accompanied by our own Chianti Colli Senesi wine. The courses are organized for small groups (2 to 14 pax) and make the most, both our own produce, wine, honey, saffron, extra virgin olive oil, our fresh garden vegetables and also other local produce from neighboring farms. The classes start in the morning at 10.30 ending with a delicious lunch or in the afternoon around 15:30 ending with a wonderful dinner, to celebrate the joy of cooking with all the delicious dishes we have prepared together.

This is a great opportunity to spend HALF DAY (5 hours) in Tuscany enjoying a great lunch and wine tastings. We will pick you up directly by your accommodation in Florence and we will head to a local family owned winery where you will enjoy a great wine experience and delicious home made food. At the end we will drive you to San Gimignano, a stunning medieval town in the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by vineyards, olive grooves and the rolling hills. Here you will have time to stroll around the town for about an hour. Enjoy some free time shopping in the local artisans shops and take pictures of the incredible architecture of this ancient town. Truffles are a seasonal delicacy but in this area we are very lucky, in spring we can find the Marzuolo or March truffle, in summer the Tartufo Nero Scorzone, a black Summer truffle, while in winter there are black winter truffles but also sometimes the famous " Bianco delle Crete Senesi", the highly prized white truffle. Outside our farm house we meet up with our expert truffle hunter and his wonderful dogs. To help you get the best of the companionship of the truffle hunter, a mine of information on truffles, the dogs, the woods and countryside and the local area in general you will be accompanied by an English speaking interpreter - generally an interpreter who also assists in the cooking classes and so able to give you tips on storing and using the truffles in the kitchen.
