After discovering the beauties of Pisa you will get back on the bus and in about 1 hour and 30 you will arrive in Manarola, the smallest and most characteristic village of the Cinque Terre. We will arrive at the parking lot of the village, where the bus will be waiting for you on your return. Pietrasanta is part of Versilia, on the last foothills of the Apuan Alps. The town has Roman origins and part of the Roman wall still exists. The medieval town was founded in 1255 upon the pre-existing "Rocca di Sala" fortress of the Lombards by Luca Guiscardo da Pietrasanta, from whom it got its name. Pietrasanta was at its height a part of the Republic of Genoa (1316–1328). We will drive to Pisa, known in the world for its famous Leaning Tower ( it's not the only one!)... Piazza dei cavalieri and then we will drive back to the port.
