We will start with this magnificent temple of Dimitra! We will continue to the beautiful colorful Chalki where we will taste the famous liqueur of Naxos, the citrus! The next stop we will make is in the small but so picturesque and beautiful village of Kaloxylos where we will taste some of the most aromatic and tasty oils in Greece! And our last stop will be in the mountain village with marble streets, Apirantho! It will be my great pleasure to show you the beauties of the island where I grew up. Join us to see unique villages. We depart daily to go from Agia Anna's Port and sail to southern Naxos, Kato and Ano Koufonisi. Our journey begins with a treat of our Naxos graviera cheese with tomatoes and our island’s bread. Arriving at the wonderful beach in Kato Koufonisi for 2 hours. Snorkeling equipment is provided free of charge. During the cruise water, soft drinks, juices and wine will be provided for free. Coffee (additional charge) will be at your disposal such as cold refreshments, beers, drinks and delicious cocktails. Our crew prepares a BBQ meal with our island’s meat of pork and poultry accompanied by salads with olive oil. Then we approach Ano Koufonisi, where you will explore it for at least 2 hours. We raise the anchors and head for the unique Rina’s Cave where your adventure continues exploring the cave by swimming and snorkeling in its enchanting waters. In addition you will enjoy Naxos sweet delectable fruits and are entertained with wonderful music throughout our journey.

Departing from the port of Naxos and after 45 minutes of travel, the boat arrives to the island of Delos, a “floating” archaeological site dedicated to god Apollo. On Delos the entrance fee is 12,00 euro per person. With a 3 hour stop, visitors have the time to admire the unique archaeological site. Half an hour away is the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos. A four hours stay gives the opportunity to walk through the beautiful streets, visit the famous “Little Venice” and enjoy a stroll through the shops on the island.

You will gain hands on experience with traditional tools and techniques of carving marble! I will guide you thru the process of carving a small relief sculpture that you can then take with you. You will have a unique perspective of the history and art of marble sculpture.

The hike takes a route through small and picturesque traditional villages and areas of unrivaled natural beauty. You'll start and end your hike at Halki, a gem village which boasts samples of remarkable neoclassical architecture. Hike through the scenic valley of Tragea, dotted with Byzantine churches different in architectural style and from various eras, some decorated with outstanding frescoes. You ’ll hike through the area’s olive, fig, and citrus groves to reach Panagia Drosiani, one of the Balkans’ oldest churches, dating back to the 6th century AD. In the heart of the village of Kaloxylos you will visit the folklore museum, where you will have the opportunity to take a step back in time and marvel the rare collections of a bygone age. At the end of your hike, you'll visit the local distillery producing Kitron, Naxos’ citrus-based liqueur. Your hike ends with a delicious meal (optional) at one of the island's best traditional tavernas or with free time to wander around Halki.

Start your day with a convenient transfer service from your hotel. Your hike starts at Kinidaros, a scenic village nestled amid marble quarries. As you hike all the way down to the river, the views of the nearby mountains as they blend with the deep blue of the Aegean are breathtaking! As soon as you reach the riverbanks, the landscape changes completely.
