Join me at the Barrage Vauban where we will begin our visit to the different Christmas markets! We will cross the markets as well as the famous monuments and squares of Strasbourg. You will also have the opportunity to drink a free mulled wine/hot juice, and to stop at the various chalets. This visit lasts about 2 hours and can be totally adapted according to your expectations.

Hi! I'm Kevin, born and raised in Chicago, and I've been living in Strasbourg since 2020. I love sharing my adopted home with travelers who enjoy a mix of culture, history, humor, and authenticity! In this “Introduction to Strasbourg” walking tour, we will visit many highlights of sights and life in the city. We will marvel in the beauty of Strasbourg’s iconic cathedral and stroll through the windy roads of Petite France, Strasbourg’s most picturesque neighborhood, followed by a stunning view of the city away from the crowds. Along the way, I will also be pointing you towards other things to explore for the rest of your stay in the city! This is a relaxed, friendly walking tour. Rather than a history lecture, it’s more like a walk with a friend with fun facts, local stories, and excellent food recommendations to share! Whether you're here for a day or a week, I'll make sure that Strasbourg feels a little more familiar :)

Take advantage of an experienced and conciliatory driver to drive you and drop you off at the various stops of the ride. Use your time as you see fit. Be curious, be greedy, be carefree and discover the jewels of Alsace. Manage your time and travel on your own at different stopover points. At the end of the allotted time your driver will position himself to pick you up and take you to the next stopover. The times defined for each stopover may be shortened or extended at the request of the passengers if the overall time of the service is not exceeded. Tasting begins in the wine space. This is followed by a video explaining how Alsace wines are made (suitable for children). Then we visit the cellar, with its wooden barrels over a hundred years old, and you discover our family history through a scenographic space with a 180° immersive video projected onto the barrels: unique in France... Then we continue the tasting in our tearoom area with a "gourmet wine": several glasses paired with sweet and salty treats: cheese, charcuterie, macaroons, gingerbread, fresh fruit and chocolate and fruit coulis. You can also choose not to register the children, and have them choose a snack on the spot! Children can choose directly on the spot! It's an old family winery dating back to 1850, where history meets modernity! The immersive cellar experience is unique in France! You'll taste 5 Alsace wines and leave with a picnic basket to enjoy in the vineyards or at home! Children welcome! The visit is free for them, so come along without registering! However, if you register your children, they will also receive a picnic basket.

I welcome to the cellar, where we'll start tasting our wines. We'll watch a video explaining how Alsace wines are made. I'll then take you on a tour of the family cellar, which dates back to 1850, to see the hundred-year-old oak barrels we still use to make our wines. We have a scenographic area in the cellar with an immersive 180° video projected onto the barrels - the only one of its kind in France. This film is not a remake of anything you can find to date about working in the vineyard... But a film about my rather rich personal history, and my working philosophy. The whole thing is projected in the cellar, onto hundred-year-old oak barrels at 180°. We'll finish the tasting in our dining bar area. You can enjoy a soup, a mixed board (cheese, fish and charcuterie), an Alsatian dessert and coffee/tea. A vegetarian version is also available, but please let us know in advance.
