The day begins around 9.00am at your hotel, and we'll be travelling to the Beaujolais region to meet two wineries in the morning, where we'll visit the vines, the cellars and taste the wines (including 20th-century wine).
At around 1 o'clock in the afternoon, we'll head to a magnificent spot in the heights of the Beaujolais region for a picnic.
This moment will be dedicated to a tasting of wines from the 1960s to the present day, to cover the spectrum of the Gamay grape variety through time. The wines will be accompanied by a dozen cheeses and seasonal gourmet products.
Last tasting of the day after lunch and before returning to Lyon.

There’s a saying in Lyon that the third river flowing in Lyon is… Beaujolais wine. Enjoy this full day tour to discover this beautiful region: the rolling hills and vineyards of the Beaujolais region.
