Visit and wine tasting at three châteaux in the famous villages of Margaux, St Julien, Pauillac or St Estephe. This is the land of the grand impressive châteaux and we will visit three and pass infront of the most famous such as Lafite Rotthschild, Margaux and Latour. The terroir changes as we go up this rather flat landscape which forms a peninsular between the large Gironde Estuary and the Atlantic sea to the left. Increasing number of large gravel stones make the wine more fullbodied. We will taste the difference between a Margaux and a Pauillac. With thirty years of experience I will be able to impart my stories and experiences while we travel and visit. If there is one unique region to visit, this is it! I will include a smaller family property to show the difference and get closer to the winemaker. .

During your visit to the first Chateau, you will be able to admire the vineyards as far as the eye can see and discover the different grape varieties used to produce the wines of the Margaux appellation. You will also have the opportunity to discuss with wine experts who will explain the production and winemaking techniques. Then, you will pass by the famous “Chateau Margaux”, the opportunity to take a photo before going to your second guided tour in a 5th Grand Cru classified Chateau.
