You will follow a path of colors and scents and discover Provence in blue. We will take you to the french capital of lavender, Sault (July/ August), for many photo stops or just for the pleasure of walking among the lavender and sunflowers fields. You will also visit the hilltop of Gordes & Abbaye de Sénanque ( photo stop) with its laverder fields. Sightseeing, beautiful roads and lavender smells for your program! Aix en Provence is the most romantic town of Provence, Cassis, colorful village by the sea and a drive thru Marseille, the oldest town in France.

Discover unique UNESCO heritage sites like the Roman and Medieval Arles as well as the aqueduct of Pont du Gard, following the footsteps of the great Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh. Start of the tour with a stop in Orange, first at the Arc de Triomphe, built in the 20s AD in honour of the 2nd Gallic Legion, then at the majestic Ancient Theatre and its impressive stage wall, built around 30 BC and still used today, where you will make the tour with audio-guide. Then we will go to the Pont du Gard, first for the picnic with fresh produce from local farms, then for a walk on the site of the Pont du Gard, a sublime bridge-aqueduct built and used by the Romans to supply Nîmes with water. We will finish the tour in Nimes, with a first stop in front of the magnificent Maison Carrée, an ancient temple dedicated to the grandsons of the Emperor Augustus and built between the years 2 and 5 AD. Then you will visit the Roman Amphitheatre with an audio guide, a beautiful site built around 105 AD.

Begin your day at a lively local market, where you can browse stalls filled with fresh produce, artisanal products, and handmade crafts (Gordes = market on tuesday, Bonnieux, market on friday, L'Isle sur Sorgue, market on sunday). You will experience the essence of Provence as you explore charming villages, such as Gordes, Roussillon, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Bonnieux and l'Isle sur la Sorgue.

Meet your guide in Avignon at 8am and set off for a wonderful day cycling through one of the most beautiful regions in France : the Luberon. After a short drive aboard our minibus you will arrive in Bonnieux. This is one of the most impressive Luberon villages and has stunning views out across the patchworked valley of orchards and vineyards surrounding it. Time to climb on your e-bike, get pedalling and enjoy your ride ! Start towards the village of Lacoste. You will stop by the remains of the Marquis de Sade's castle. Time for a break and a lunch (not included), in Ménerbes, listed as “one of the most beautiful villages in France”, and famous thanks to the Peter Mayle's novel : " A Year in Provence" . Back on saddle for a few more pedal rolls before arriving back in Bonnieux.

Our pétanque lessons are available every day, all year long. The tour last at least 2 hours. First we'll teach you, only in English, the rules of the game along with a brief history of the sport. Then you'll learn how to handle the boule, throw, shoot, score, and master the fine art of disputing a point. You'll play competitive games of pétanque (with a glass of rosé in your hand, of course!). Your hosts will also have some homemade Pastis for sampling. We'll present the winning team with a commemorative trophy during an apero with Pastis, rosé, red wine and traditional homemade Provencal snacks (pâtés, tapenade, mushrooms and goat cheese) while overlooking one of Provence's most magnificent landscapes.

The tour will start with a visit to L’Isle sur la Sorgue, a town built on an old swamp and surrounded by canals, or a walk to Fontaine de Vaucluse where you will see the fabulous natural spectacle of the Sorgue spring overflowing on the rocks (after a period of heavy rain only). Then, you will take a guided tour of the Mines de Bruoux, former quarry where ochre was extracted mainly used in painting and dyeing, then you will enjoy the picnic consisting only of fresh products from local farms. To digest, you will visit the colorful village of Roussillon whose house facades are stained ochre, but you will also enjoy the view offered by the village on the surroundings. Finally, after a photo stop on the hill facing Gordes (elected the most beautiful village in the world by an American magazine), you will have free time in the village to close the circuit.

Hike the hills of the Luberon in search of wild herbs, natural spring and fossils from 20 million years ago, when this part of Provence was underwater. During this beautiful nature walk, you will learn to recognize fossils, identify wild herbs growing naturally in the countryside and drink homemade Pastis mixed with water from a natural spring, like a Provençal native straight out of a Peter Mayle novel.. We'll show you lingering evidence of the first humans in the region, from nearly 130,000 years ago. After the hike, your hosts will take you to a beautiful fish pond in the countryside, where a table will be waiting for you with a traditional apéritif (rosé and red wine, homemade Provencal pâté, tapenade, mushrooms, etc.) and great stories. Because we are in the Luberon National Park, we regret that we cannot allow guests to take ancient fossils from the site. Photos, however, are encouraged!
