Tours in Avignon

Cooking classes start at 9 a.m. with an appointment at the Cuisine Centr'Halles located inside the Les Halles d'Avignon market. We start with a visit to the Market to talk about local products, taste and especially create our menu together. We'll choose our ingredients and craft our menu, then head back to the kitchen for our class and cook our lunch. Lunch is included and consists of the menu we have prepared, water, wine and coffee. The full event ends at 1:30 p.m. Cooking demonstrations are a fun and light alternative to cooking classes. These begin at 9 a.m. with a meeting inside the market at the Cuisine Centr'Halles. We start with a market visit and tastings at some of my favorite vendors. We then return to the kitchen to prepare my tapenade recipes and some other daily preparations.

Go behind the scenes of the world's most secretive business. Forget the hassles of hiring a car and finding your own way! Meet your guide in Avignon at 8am and set off for a wonderful day cycling through one of the most beautiful regions in France : the Luberon. After a short drive aboard our minibus you will arrive in Bonnieux. This is one of the most impressive Luberon villages and has stunning views out across the patchworked valley of orchards and vineyards surrounding it. Time to climb on your e-bike, get pedalling and enjoy your ride ! Start towards the village of Lacoste. You will stop by the remains of the Marquis de Sade's castle. Time for a break and a lunch (not included), in Ménerbes, listed as “one of the most beautiful villages in France”, and famous thanks to the Peter Mayle's novel : " A Year in Provence" . Back on saddle for a few more pedal rolls before arriving back in Bonnieux.

Have a great time learning to taste wine the way that professionals do. Enrich your knowledge of wine production, grape varieties, and the important concept of terroir. Gordana will share the best wines and her extensive knowledge with you at 2 or 3 well-regarded cellars in the beautiful quaint village of Châteauneuf du Pape. French typically do not eat at wine tastings, so please feel free to bring snacks if you would like!
