Enjoy 2 hours of white-water rafting class II, ziplining, rappelling and rock climbing the Canyon of Rio Colorado in Guanacaste. This canyon adventure tour is the most exiting package from hotels in Guanacaste.

This tour is available for all ages. Ages between 7 years old to 60 years old senior people. IMPORTANT NOTE: Small groups in this tour . Tour duration with roundtrip transportation from hotels to both tours and lunch are around 4 to 5 hours. Walking duration total are 1 hour and 45 minutes roundtrip by the trails. Clients take a truck ride from the parking area to the hiking trail. 2 miles roundtrip hiking. Hiking is extreme and require good physical conditions, hiking shoes or sneakers (NO FLIP FLOPS). Brings towels, comfortable clothes, raincoat, insect repellent, sunblock, extra clothes and cash for extras. IMORTANT NOTE: Hike at the waterfall La Leona are really extreme because you have to climb stairs up and down the rocks and vines, streams to get to the waterfall. NO RECOMMENDING for pregnancy women's, persons with cardiac problems or another health limitation.

We will have a volcanic mud bath and relax in the hot springs before lunch and then we will experience the tropical rainforest on a moderate hike along some breathtaking hanging-bridges and three more waterfalls!

In this Megacombo Adventure you will enjoy ziplining, Horseback riding, a 450 meters water slide into the pool, sugarcane juice presentation, lunch buffet style where you can taste the authentic costa rican food . La Leona Waterfall is located in the small town of Curubande, 20 minutes from Liberia. La Leona is a unique deep blue waterfall rooted between two canyons. It’s one of the few, if not the only, one in Costa Rica with this characteristic. Its water comes from the “white river” or “Rio Blanco” that finds its source in the foothills of the Volcano Rincon de la Vieja. The color of the water is just amazing, between blue and turquoise, which is explained by the presence of sulfur in the water. It’s definitely a must in this area! We’ll start our hike through a canyon and inside the tropical forest. But if you feel more like hiking and appreciate wildlife at the foot of the volcano, we recommend our 8 hanging bridges with different lengths. The next activity is perfect for freshening up: a quarter of a mile water slide above the forest. You will indulge on buffet lunch to regain your energy and continue on your adventure of horseback riding in a middle of the forest with great landscapes. WATERFALL SWIMMING: The trail to get to this natural pool is short , 15 minutes one way walk. In the place there’s always recommending bring an extra towel to dry after swim as well put your swim suit underneath. Once at Tenorio Volcano National Park your guide will give a short introduction, and then the 5 miles hike starts going through the tropical rain forest, where fauna and flora are plentiful. During the hike we will visit “Los Teñideros”, where two stream of crystalline water come together and form the astonishing blue color that gives the river its name. On the hike you also come by the volcano’s furnace vents that expel gases of extreme high temperatures, and you will have the chance to take a dip in the natural hot springs. On the way you will also get to see the spectacular Rio Celeste waterfall whose colors makes it one of a kind!
