Las Baulas National Park, created in 1990, is approximately 445 hectares & located on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast, near the town of Tamarindo. The Tamarindo estuary is the biggest mangrove estuary in Latin America and the only way to get to it’s heart is by water. This makes it a quiet and private place in comparison to many of Costa Rica’s other National Parks that are easily accessible by car. Come and enjoy the nature it has to share!

Mariano is part of the surfing association of Tamarindo Costa Rica which aims to protect the local surf culture of this beautiful town. Hi to all, I'm Alvaro, a Venezuelan living in the beautiful Tamarindo Beach, Costa Rica, a surf instructor, and the Manager of Tidal Wave Surf Academy. My journey with surfing started in Venezuela, 18 years ago, on a beach called Chirimena, and I surfed almost all of Venezuela's central coast. Four years ago, I arrived in Tamarindo, fell in love with this beach town, and started to provide surf lessons. I am an ISA-certified Certified Surf Instructor and I have vast experience teaching children and adults to surf. Surfing has given me balance, calm, and a sense of meaning, and I enjoy transmitting the passion of surfing by teaching people the sport that has given me so much. I am excited about sharing my knowledge and experience with you and helping you get the most out of your surfing experience. I believe that the ocean is a source of peace and relaxation for people of all ages.

Discover Scuba Diving is an experience that will allow you to go diving without a certification. This includes a theory session, time to practice your skills with your instructor and 2 dives at the Catalinas. We also include fruit and soft drinks during the navigation as well as all the equipment you will need!

Located in the province of Guanacaste. The geological significance of spelology, is the existence of underground caverns that have required about 60 million years to form, consisting of coral sand. We walk a distance of about 2 miles round trip on the tropical dry forest lasting approximately 1 and a half hour. We descent downstairs latter around 17 meters with arness equipment hold in a safety line. We spot the formation of stalagmites and stalactites under the caves. We send there around 30 minutes there. We have a CAVE for kids only and must to be supervise by an adult. IMPORTANT NOTE: ***MINIMUM KIDS AGE TO DO THIS TOUR ARE 4 YEARS OLD** The vegetation is mainly deciduous and sometimes we can spot wildlife species such as capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys deers as well some birds. In the upper part of the National Park, about 400 meters high there is a panoramic view of the river Tempisque lowlands, and the Gulf of Nicoya and some of its islands.

La Leona Waterfall is located in the small town of Curubande, 20 minutes from Liberia. La Leona is a unique deep blue waterfall rooted between two canyons. It’s one of the few, if not the only, one in Costa Rica with this characteristic. Its water comes from the “white river” or “Rio Blanco” that finds its source in the foothills of the Volcano Rincon de la Vieja. The color of the water is just amazing, between blue and turquoise, which is explained by the presence of sulfur in the water. It’s definitely a must in this area! We’ll start our hike through a canyon and inside the tropical forest. Most of the trail is next to the Blanco River, walking through caves and sometimes even swimming to go around big rocks that surround this place.
