The day will begin with a visit to the MISTICO HANGING BRIDGES: a two hours hike through the beautiful rainforest and a great opportunity to see animals such as monkeys, toucans, wild turkeys, sloths, a wide variety of birds, and much more. Then we will continue visiting the breathtaking Río Fortuna´s Waterfall: a downhill hike through will bring you to the bottom of this amazing 70-meter-high waterfall where you can enjoy a delicious Costarican lunch and a break before continuing the adventure. Later, we will continue on a hike through secondary forest trails which will take us to the ARENAL VOLCANO 1968 LAVA FLOW TRAILS: a place with awesome views of the volcano and lake, during this hike you will learn about Arenal’s activity, history, flora and fauna.

• The dazzling centrepiece of the Tenorio Volcano National Park, the Rio Celeste is most famous for its shockingly bright blue color, the result of a natural reaction of volcanic sulfur and calcium carbonate, which turns the clear waters a powder-blue shade. Reached by hiking through the surrounding rainforest, there are a number of sights of interest located along the Rio Celeste, most notably the Rio Celeste Waterfall, a favorite photo spot where the river tumbles into a striking blue lagoon; the Tenideros, where two rivers merge in the Celeste; and the Poza Azul, the most renowned "dye pool," where the reaction is most noticeable. After visiting the most beautiful places of this park there is a tough hike back to the park entrance where we have served a delicious, well- deserved lunch.
