The beautiful Uyuni salt flats are the world’s largest salt flat. It is located in the Department of Potosi in Southwest Bolivia at 3.650 meters above sea level. Some 40.000 years ago, the area was part of Lake Minchin, a giant prehistoric lake. When the lake dried up, it left behind two modern lakes, Poopó and Uru Uru, and two major salt deserts: Salar de Coipasa and the larger Salar de Uyuni. The Uyuni Salt Flats are roughly 25 times the size of Bonneville Salt Flats in the United States! La Isla del Pescado (Fish Island), which is located on the salt flat, is full of giant cactuses and named this way as the ´island´ has the shape of a fish. It is the only sign of life for miles. The itinerary of this Private plan is designed for those who visit San Pedro de Atacama for 3 days, considering that their flight to Calama arrives on Day 1 of the program (before 12:00) and their flight from Calama leaves on Day 3 ( after 4pm). In the event that your flight to Calama arrives at a date before Day 1 of the plan and / or your flight from Calama leaves at a date after Day 3 of the plan, you can also book it, selecting on the calendar the date you want to make the first tour, and modifying in the next step of booking online the date of one or both transfers.

Who could imagine that in a desert it is possible to find so much water and such beautiful places. The region of the Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache is a true oasis. A majestic scenery rich in colors, sensations and of course – water. There are seven lagoons of clear water, with a transparency that will amaze you. We do not need to mention that it is sometimes impossible to reach them, due to the high concentration of salt in the water. The Hidden Lagoons are located at an altitude of 2,400 meters and temperatures vary from 5 to 30 ºC. The route is demarcated by stones, so the objective is to preserve the open nature, so that others can also enjoy the beauty of the place. Does it seem fair to us, right?

Toconao (Kunza Rincón perdido) enchants for its simplicity, calm of its people, special climate, beautiful architecture and crafts; We will visit the marginal area of the Salar de Atacama known as Laguna Chaxa located in Sector Soncor R.N.L. F. Later we headed towards the South East (Cordillera de los Andes) to settle in a Socaire Altiplanic Town, we visited its Church and learned about its agriculture. Once installed in the cordon of the Andes we headed approx. At 4200 masl to meet the Miscanti and Meñiques Lagoons. These lagoons belong to the R. N. Los F., characterized by volcanoes and mountainous reliefs such as the Miscanti hill and the Meñiques volcano. Both lagoons are born from groundwater from melting ice. Continuing along the slopes of the South Andes we head to the Salar de Talar Touristically known as Piedras Rojas, where the rocks are subjected to natural oxidation and weathering.
