To begin your tour, your local friendly guide will meet you outside of Merit Coffee, 222 West Ave #120, Austin, TX 78701, United States. Starting out, you will walk towards the Willie Nelson statue, passing by the Austin Public Library along the way. From there, you will begin walking through the Rainey Street Historic District. This increasingly popular tucked-away street is dominated by renovated houses turned into bungalow bars. Your guide will then lead you toward the Colorado River, where you will see The Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge. Next, you will head to your first food stop along your tour for an incredible pulled pork sandwich. After you’ve finished your sandwich, you’ll need something refreshing to quench your thirst. From here, you will continue toward your next food stop through the Red River Cultural District. Your last, but definitely not least, BBQ stop is the perfect way to top off your tour.

Segway Nation offers its 2.5 hour Ghost and Bat Segway tour once daily. Our Ghost and Bat Segway tour is offered once daily at 7:00 PM. Bats are seasonal and usually fly from March to October every year. This approximately 2.5 hour Segway tour is designed to be a fun nighttime Segway adventure through downtown Austin. Relax in an open air pedicab as our knowledgable tour guide rides you around to all the venues and sites that gave this city the title - Live Music Capital of the World. Stops include Willie Nelson Statue, Stevie Ray Vaughan statue, Antones- Home of the Blues, Armadillo World Headquarters, Janis Joplin Mural and many more. The pedicab is equipped with a stereo to play music from local legends. This is a private tour and can be customized to your group.

Each Pedicab can carry passengers (age 7 and older). Children under age 7 can sit in a lap. All of our pedicabs are motorized, allowing us to travel up to 15 mph. Fast enough to get where we need to go, but slow enough to take in all the sights. The Pedicab drivers are all licensed chauffeurs, so you can drink alcoholic beverages as a passenger. Just no glass bottles and the drivers cannot provide the beverages to you (you have to purchase alcohol from a store or restaurant).
