Experience the “Land of Waterfalls” in our custom Jeep. This is a must-do tour when visiting Asheville! This tour allows you to see our favorite waterfalls located in Pisgah National Forest. We will travel together deep into the dense mountainous landscape and make several stops to hike to waterfalls. Your guide will tell you about the rich history of this national forest as well as the amazing flora and fauna home to these mountains around Asheville! We want to make the trip easy for you! We pick you up! Our tour offers a driver/seasoned local guide who will pick you up at your accommodation within 3 miles of city center (One North Pack Square). A small group tour, we provide all window, captain chair seating in a late model Ford transit van , drinks/snacks included. We will travel along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway to discover the amazing views and scenery surrounding this iconic road that connects two National Parks on our way to the hiking portion through the  mountains near Asheville. (scheduled bathroom stops :). We will drive through some beautiful mountain scenery on the way visit three waterfalls and two protected forests. IMPORTANT Before booking this tour please know that we will be walking approximately 3 miles on the hiking portion of this tour over 2 hours at pace of about 1 1/2 miles per hour, including stops at the falls and you should feel comfortable walking this distance before making a booking. We will return to Asheville is between 1:30 & 1:45pm.

The French Broad river spans 218 miles from Rosman, North Carolina through Asheville, and toward the state of Tennessee. Section 9 of the French Broad river starts approximately 45 minutes away from Asheville near Marshall, North Carolina and runs through the Pisgah National Forest. The majority of French Broad Section 9 flows through protected lands, and is beginner-friendly. Your guide will navigate you through approximately 5 miles of Section 9, where you will raft through class II and class III difficulty levels, and you may briefly encounter class IV drops depending on the time of year, and the amount of rainfall. This tour combines an incredible stretch of exciting and continuous rapids with some of the most breathtaking scenery around.

Starting at our shop just north of downtown Asheville, we’ll meet and greet, hop on electric bicycles, and begin our tour of the area. From our starting point we will leisurely cruise down through the quaint Montford and north Asheville communities on our way to Patton mountain where we will see numerous historical sites. We will then begin our ascent of Patton mountain where we’ll find panoramic views of the southern Appalachian mountains and the Asheville valley at every turn. Cruising on another few miles we’ll hit Town Mountain road where we will embark on a winding and exciting descent back down to the Asheville valley. Arriving at the bottom invigorated and just in time to see the incredible architecture of the historic Grove Park Inn!

The Blue Ridge parkway Scenic driving tour is chauffered by a certified Naturalist that can tell you all about the flora, fauna an history of the parkway. He will stop at great vistas for photo opportunities and for some short hikes if the guests would like to.

We will hit three of Asheville’s best breweries while zipping around on our brand new fleet of e-bikes. Your guide will offer special tasting options and tours at several of the locations in addition to a mid-crawl stop for some of our favorite barbeque to soak up some of Asheville’s delicious suds.

We will begin at our shop in North Asheville as the sun gets low in the sky. After we take some time to get custom sized and aquatinted with the e bikes we will set out on our ride up the beautiful mountains that surround Asheville. We will climb up to a breathtaking overlook where we will stop for some refreshments as the light grows long in the Asheville valley down below. During this time of day, much of the wildlife in Asheville is the most active, and we will be sure to take our time enjoying any of the diverse critters who may cross our path during our ride. After stopping by the historic veranda at the Grove Park Inn, we will conclude watching the last rays of sun fade over Southern Appalachia from a local Asheville brewery.

Our tours take you to the most breathtaking locations across the Blue Ridge Mountains that only the locals know about. Our award-winning photographers know the Blue Ridge Mountains better than anyone else in the area! We can work to accommodate your schedule but typically this tour begins 4 hours before sunset.

Whether you want to see waterfalls, wildflowers, enjoy a quiet walk on a forested path, or climb a 6,000 foot peak, we will customize these trips based on your desired distance, difficulty, and destination. After booking, our office will contact you to discuss your preferences. Hike will meet our office in downtown Asheville at 8:30am, and will last approximately 4-5 hours including transportation time. Snacks are included, but transportation is not. Transportation between Asheville and the trailhead (including hotel pickup) can be added for an additional fee. Your guide can provide trekking poles and/or bottled water upon request, at no additional charge. We hike rain or shine! Hikers should arrive prepared for all weather conditions and pack a rain jacket, an extra warm layer, and water. For up to two hours of spooky fun with drinks and Spirits, hop from one of Asheville's four favorite neighborhood bars to multiple haunted locations. The cost of this tour does not cover drinks, tastings, or facility tours. This trip will take you to four bars in Asheville, which might be a mix of the neighborhood's artisan distilleries and neighborhood bars. Between these already infamous clubs and pubs, there will be a variety of spooky stops! Each stop will take between 15-20 minutes to an hour. Day of the week and season affect the exact lineup.
