Kibale’s 1450 chimpanzee population of this threatened primate is Uganda’s biggest. The black & white colobus, red tailed monkey, blue monkey, olive baboon, grey cheeked mangabey, bush baby and potto are among the other primates which ca be seen here. A nature walk with a ranger to visit the white rhinos in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Rhinos live in small groups in this sanctuary making it safe for visitors to see them. Following the ranger's instruction about safety while there will make this experience a memorable one. There is no hiking in this exercise. It is just a simple walk coupled with explanations from rangers. It is the only place in Uganda where one can see these animals in the wild on foot.
