The 2 days Uganda safari to Lake Mburo Is a rewarding short Uganda safari to a serene lake, rolling hills and abundant wildlife makes Lake Mburo a gem of a national park. Search the savannah for Burchell’s zebra, giraffe eland, hyenas and leopards that are all found here. Take to the water in search of crocodiles and some of the over 300 hippos living in the lake. Your tour includes mountain gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi, Batwa visit, en-route visit to the Equator crossing and meals, beautiful countryside views. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a magical gorilla highland set in the Southwest and accessing it takes 8-9 hours. Gazetted in 1991, Bwindi is housed half of all the 1063 mountain gorillas that the world boasts of today-the rare species which only thrive in Uganda, Rwanda, and D.R. Congo. Rwenzori Mountains Trekking with Margherita Peak Summit (5,109m asl) tour takes you through the Rwenzori mountains national park surrounding the Rwenzori mountain ranges. The national park hosts 70 mammals and 217 bird species including 19 Albertine Rift endemics, as well as some of the world’s rarest vegetation. The Rwenzoris are a world-class hiking and mountaineering destination. The vegetation in the Ruwenzori is unique to equatorial alpine Africa. Their multitude of fast flowing rivers, magnificent waterfalls and stratified vegetation make the property exceptionally scenic and beautiful. The mountains are well-known for their unique alpine flora which includes many species endemic to the Albertine Rift in the higher altitude zones including giant heathers, groundsels and lobelias. Kibale forest National Park hosts the world’s threatened red colobus and the rare L’Hoest monkeys. Other primates in Kibale Forest National Park include red-tailed monkeys, Olive baboons, grey-cheeked mangabey. Blue monkeys, potto, and bush baby among others. It is because of this that the park is regarded as the best destination in the whole world to do chimpanzee trekking and has been referred to as the primate capital of the world. Apart from the primates, the park also features over 375 bird species and about 70 species of mammals which makes it worth visiting.

Rwenzori is known primarily for its challenging hiking and climbing possibility with a unique among East African Mountains. Rwenzori is not Volcanic in Origin, but it rises directly from the Rift valley floor. Its range also supports a diversity of animals including mammals and about 177 bird species, with several being Albertine Rift Endemics. It’s the highest mountain range in Africa, with its Loftiest peaks, Margherita (5,109m) and Alexandra (5083m) on Mount Stanley, are exceeded in altitude elsewhere in Africa only by Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya.
