Mikumi is a town in Morogoro region adjacent to the National park bearing the same name. It is at the cross roads to the Ruaha river valley and Kilombero sugar factory, and the southern highland regions of Iringa and Mbeya. It is near the larger town of Kidodi. Kidodi is near a railway station and junction of the Tanzania Railway Corporation.

On arrival at Mikumi you will meet your driver/guide and start game drive in a jeep/4X4 land cruiser which can take six to eight persons depending on the number of seats it has, so you will do game drive until 1pm for lunch inside the park then finish the game drive. In the end our guide will assist you to unloading area where you will meet your awaiting transfer back to Zanzibar.
