(2) Hanok Village(11:30 ~ 15:30): It is the largest traditional hanok village in Korea, with 700 hanoks in Jeonju, and is the only downtown hanok group in the country. It is an essential space in the modern residential culture development process of Korea, which began in 1910. It is a representative tourist destination in Korea that combines Korean styles such as Hanok, Korean food, Hanji, Hanson, Hanbok, and oriental medicine. Moreover, with the huge number of stalls and long queues, it is difficult to come across which food to get! Our hosts will be splitting into different roles to pick up some of our favourite food to share while some of us will show you around the market. Then, we will head to the Han-river with the food for a picnic. The parks around the Han-river is famous for its ambience for the perfect picnic. As soon as flowers start to bloom in spring, all the locals come out to Han-gang in the weekend to enjoy the sun and food. The introduction to the traditional Korean alcohol with a storytelling (folktale) will help participants get acclimated to the experience, even if they are new to Korean culture. This activity also serves as a solid team-building activity as team effort is essential in making traditional alcohol.
