Sanbona is one the most beautiful reserves. It is surrounded with nature and mountains. The lodge accommodation is inside and you are able to see wild animals walking around. Aquila Reserve is one of the best Safaris near Cape Town and home to the Big 5 animals. Upon arrival you will be warmly welcomed with a complimentary glass of Sparking wine, you will then proceed to the restaurant where a full buffet will be served. Soon after breakfast, you will embark on a two to three-hour game drive in an open truck or 4x4 with a small group made of either 6 to 15 people depending on the truck size. You can book on the spot or in advance for a private 4x4 truck at the reserve in addition to the entrance fees. After the safari, you will return to the main restaurant for a full buffet lunch. Flanked by Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head, Table Mountain makes up the northern end of the Cape Fold Mountain range. It’s hard to imagine, but the mountain’s distinctive flat top – a three-kilometre level plateau – was once the bottom of a valley! The mountain was given its name — Taboa do Cabo (Table of the Cape) — by Antonio de Saldahna after he climbed up Platteklip Gorge in 1503.
