Splendour in the Winelands - Private Tour

5
Touring one of the most stunning areas of the Cape is a must for any visitor to Cape Town’s shores. The first stop will give you a chance to enjoy some locally produced meats and cheeses, explore the gardens and sample of the estate’s best wines. The next stop comes with a cheese pairing that would make even Napoleon weep with joy. Not everyone loves cheese, and we get that, so there’s also the option of doing a traditional biltong pairing instead. By the third stop, you’ll be full of wine and happier than a fish in water, or wine as the case may be. Stop three, you’ll be delighted to know, is the lunch stop. Now your blood sugar is back to normal, the fourth stop will delight you with a glass of sunshine and panoramic views of the Stellenbosch wine valley. Consistently highly rated by Platter’s Wine Guide, the varietals on offer at stop four include red, white and even sparkling wines, a selection of which will be enjoyed in the welcomingly modern Wine Lounge.

Cape Town Private Tour, Table Mountain Car Ride and Robben Island Getaway

TABLE MOUNTAIN EXPLORE CAPE TOWN’S ICONIC TABLE MOUNTAIN Whether it is covered in a blanket of moody clouds or showing off against a crisp cloudless blue sky, Table Mountain is always spectacular. Cape Town locals are pretty fond of the mountain that looms over their city… and with good reason! Table Mountain, which is home to the richest, yet smallest floral kingdom on earth, was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2011. Flanked by Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head, Table Mountain makes up the northern end of the Cape Fold Mountain range. It’s hard to imagine, but the mountain’s distinctive flat top – a three-kilometre level plateau – was once the bottom of a valley! The mountain was given its name — Taboa do Cabo (Table of the Cape) — by Antonio de Saldahna after he climbed up Platteklip Gorge in 1503.

Hiking Table Mountain via Kloof Corner Ridge Morning Hike

1
You can't visit Cape Town without taking a stab at the mighty Table Mountain one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. A unique feature of Kloof Corner Ridge it offers majestic views towards the north (over the city) and the west Camps Bay/Atlantic coast) at the same time at several points along the way. Arguably the most challenging Table Mountain hike as it involves rock scrambling over three ascents using a chain one through a unique 11 inches rock chimney and follows the narrow ridge on the right hand side of Table Mountain with some heart stopping exposure. This hike being challenging and not marked give you the opportunity to explore some of the lesser traveled path on Table Mountain and to skip the over populated area.
