The river Raba is unique. There are very few dams and civilisation is mostly far away. In the morning the fog rises from the river and the sun shines through it. During the day is hot and you can cool down swimming in the lovely river. In the evening we make fire at the camp and have fun. A night under the stars is special.
Take a tour of a Small Carpathian Wine Region which is stretching through 25 beautiful villages in the Southern part of Slovakia very close to Bratislava. Taste some great wines and see the former noble residence of the Palffy family, world famous Red Stone castle.
We will paddle along the famous Danube bend. It is place where the river has curved out a canyon through hills. There are historical towns to see as well as great views on nature.
The Esztergom basilica dominates the scenery when we start. Then we enter the wide canyon. The river is wide and calm.
At the end of the canyon Danube flows out again into the Hungarian flatlands. This is where we finish our journey. We welcome travelers who come in groups or individuals.
