This route starts at Lagoa do Negro and runs through the Serra de Santa Bárbara nature reserve. We know the Cedars of the Bush and the Cryptomerias. This is probably the most pristine trail in the Azores, as you will have the opportunity to pass through the protected area and contemplate the Laurissilva forest.

The first stop is the Miradouro da Serretinha, which offers a charming panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. We continue to São Sebastião, a historic village where you can explore the local culture. Next, we head to Serra do Cume, famous for its extensive views of the pastures, which resemble a patchwork blanket. The trip continues to Praia da Vitória, where participants can enjoy the marina and the beach. The last stop is at Miradouro do Facho, which provides impressive views over the city and the bay. The tour ends with the return to the hotel, concluding the activity.

Dare to try out the best we have for an afternoon. First, we go to heaven, driving by car to Serra da Ribeirinha. An amazing view of the city, the Monte Brasil volcano, and Vila de São Mateus. On most days, you may even be surprised to see the island of São Jorge and the island of Pico with its imposing mountain. A few steps and you have a view of Ilhéu das Cabras islet , Fradinhos islet, and the entire south coast, lots of cows, and green fields with typical dry-stone walls. Descended and began the path to the depths of the earth on this visit to Algar do Carvão. An ancient dormant volcano, in this Algar visitors can descend to a depth of around 330 feet (100 meters). A few more minutes on the road and we visit the fumaroles. Now it's time to catch your breath and head to a winery to taste the famous volcanic wine and discover how these unique people were able to find an ingenious way to transform stone into wine. The final will be at the Biscoitos Natural Pools. 37 Miles (60 Km).
