Before the start of the experience a quick walk around of the vehicle will be given as well as a full safety protocol. We take a buggy up to one of the tallest desert dunes to practice your skills. Ride the sand or catch air, while you take in stunning views of the everlasting golden scenery.

Come along to this fascinating full day tour in Huacachina from Lima. We visit Tacama which is the oldest vineyard in southamerica and sample different types of wine and pisco (Peruvian Brandy). We are guided for an expert to learn about the whole process. At the end of the tour you have the chance to have a fancy lunch at the beautiful restaurant into the vineyard. The second vineyard is a small, family-run bussines where Pisco and traditional red wine is produced using the same techniques that were used by the descendants of the Spanish Conquerors. We can see the clay jars known as “botijas” where the juice of crushed grapes is fermenting during March (harvest time), Our tour guide will explain you how this family make Pisco and traditional wine using the same techniques from one hundred years ago.

Direct transportation from Huacachina to Nazca. We have departures every day. The service includes pick-up directly from Huacachina (Wild Rover Hostel) and drop off at the airport in Nazca for the flight.

This dune buggy tour starts from the reception of Carola Lodge located at Av. Angella Perotti, 11000 Huacachina. The tour starts at 16:00 pm and once in the vehicle we make sure everyone has the seatbelts on and start this awesome experience. We drive through Huacachina's Desert and stop in the top of huge dunes for you to use the basic sandboards. The whole activity lasts 2 hours, ending with a gorgeous view of the sunset. Important: You will need to pay an entrace fee to the desert which is 4 soles per person (local currency).

Cruise to the top of 500 meter high sand dunes and go rocketing down the slopes in a sand buggy. Let go of your fears and sandboard down the steep sandy slopes with a few pointers from your local guide. The Nazca Lines are a cultural heritage of humanity which you should visit during your tour of Peru. The flight over the Nazca Lines lasts approximately 30 to 35 minutes, the pilots of the plane will be the guides during the excursion. Each passenger will have their own window where you will be able to appreciate the most important Nazca lines.
