In this tour, we will travel through the mountains to enter to the cloud forest, where we’re gonna make some walks to observe several species of birds, orchids and maybe monkeys. After spending the night in our private lodge (Paradise Lodge), we will continue 3 hours by boat to “ Palotoa Amazon Lodge”in the way we will visit hot springs we will explore the primary rainforest (untouched) area with a chance to see many monkey species, birds like parrots and an unbelievable variability of plants like giant trees, palms and medical plants. At the end of the day, we will take a night-walk to observe spiders (tarantulas), insects, frogs and snakes. On the last day, we will return to Cusco by boat and bus.

Our transfer will go to your hotel to pick you up and take you to the start of the tour. As the first starting point of our City tour in Cusco is the Cathedral of Cusco, full of history and valuable works of art, then we will visit the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) a sacred enclosure and space dedicated to the deities, then we will continue the tour to the esplanade of Sacsayhuaman known for its huge walls of megalithic stone that were built with amazing precision and perfection, we will continue through the surrounding archaeological centers like Qenqo, Puka Pukara and finally Tambomachay. The Ancascocha Trail in the Peruvian Andes is a remarkable trail that, unlike other more popular trails, remains off the beaten track and away from crowds. Yet don’t be put off by its lesser known status. Named by National Geographic as one of 20 dream hikes on their World Best Hikes list, this stunning trek takes you past ancient Inca ruins and through traditional Andean villages such as Chillipahua and the trail’s namesake Ancascocha (3,700 m/12,136 ft). Here you may briefly share the trail with farmers, shepherds and their livestock tending to their daily lives, so far removed from the tourist crowds of Cusco.

They will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 4:00 in the morning, you have to wait ready at the reception. After picking them up in the transport, they will go to Cusipata where they will have the opportunity to stop for a few minutes to relax their legs a bit before reaching the point where they will begin to walk to the hill of 7 colors or Vinicunca. After the stop in Cusipata you will continue to where you can enjoy your breakfast and start the adventure to the famous rainbow mountain. After breakfast they will start the walk. There are 4 kilometers of flat terrain uphill, to the Majestic Rainbow Mountain; where you will enjoy the panoramic view of the valleys, wild llamas, alpacas and vicuñas. If you are lucky you will see the flight of the condor. After taking beautiful photos, you will have to descend to Cusipata to enjoy a delicious lunch also prepared by the chef. We will take the transport that will be waiting for you to take you back to Cusco.
