Our guide will give you some recommendations to start the trek to Humantay Lake located at 4200 msnm Which is very close to the mountain Salkantay. We start the hike to Humantay Lake for approximately 1 hour and half; enjoying the beautiful views of the snowy mountains Salkantay and Humantay. When we reach Laguna Humantay we will enjoy the beautiful turquoise lagoon. Later you will enjoy a small snack watching the beautiful landscapes, continue the walk back to Soraypampa. The Short Inca Trail is a popular trekking route that covers a distance of approximately 12km and takes two days to complete. The trek starts at KM 104 and goes through beautiful landscapes, cloud forests, and ancient Inca ruins, including the impressive Wiñay Wayna. On the second day, trekkers make their way to the famous Inti Punku (Sun Gate), where they are rewarded with stunning views of Machu Picchu.
