Get to know one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches on the Pacific coast of Panama, just an hour and a half away from the city, we find this beautiful place called Santa Clara. In a small beach club called Tortuga where we only have to get out of the vehicle and a few steps away will be our destination, with a bar and restaurant, showers and clean bathrooms, service on the beach and cozy covered tables or beach chairs with umbrellas.

We try 24 different flavors during this tour. We'll start at Panama City's bustling seafood market, where fresh red snapper, corvina, and lobster from both oceans are on display. After exploring, we’ll enjoy two types of fresh ceviche. Next, we head to San Felipe Neri Market—a hidden gem full of local life—for natural juices and traditional sweets. From there, we walk through Avenida Central, the cultural core of Panama, where we taste a classic mamallena at a beloved neighborhood bakery. At the iconic Café Coca-Cola, a UNESCO-recognized building, we enjoy a bowl of hearty sancocho. The former Canal Zone tour starts from your hotel and takes you to the Miraflores Locks, where we will spend an hour. You can visit the exhibition room between the observation decks to learn about the history and see the boats pass through the second-largest locks in the Panama Canal. After that, we will head to the former base of Clayton, which dates back to 1919 and housed more than 20,000 people, including civilians and soldiers. Then, we will drive to Corozal, an old town in the Canal Zone, where we can visit the American military cemetery and the train station, which was the first transoceanic railway in the world. After that, we will travel to the first American airfield in Albrook, where we will learn more about the history of the place. Finally, we will visit the old town of Balboa, where we can see the Panama Canal Administration Building, and end the tour at the Amador Causeway.

At 7:00am your English speaking driver and tour guide will meet you at your Panama City lodging from where you will continue on towards the Agua Clara Locks, located about 1.5 hours away, on the Caribbean side of the country. Visitors can take their time here and watch the gigantic ships passing through the locks below.
