From medieval castles to windmills, the tour is designed based on my personal experience as a parent. The sites are not located that far, so the kids won't spend much time in the car. We start the tour by visiting Zaanse Schans, where you get to see the making of Wooden shoes, Cheese, and Barrels. You have the option to climb a windmill and have a look up and close. For lunch, we will be visiting an authentic pancake restaurant. We end the tour by visiting an authentic 13th-century castle. The tour is not too hectic and doesn't involve a lot of walking. Perfect for kids.

Since our guides are local to the area, they can tell you all there is to know about the Jordaan and Amsterdam Center. The tour is only possible on Fridays between March and September. A full-day tour where we first explore the famous weekly cheese market of Alkmaar (Friday). Alkmaar is famous for its historic cheese markets and during summer, you get to see the tradition brought alive. Alkmaar is not just about cheese. The city is much older than Amsterdam and boasts historic town squares and monumental buildings. During the second half, we will visit the Golden Age city of Hoorn or De Rijp along with some lesser-known rural windmills.

We will follow Easy company in Holland and Belgium. We will visit the 101st dropzones near Eindhoven and the Island, and find the sites shown in episodes : "Replacements" and "Crossroads". In Belgium we will go to the Bastogne area shown in episodes: "Bastogne" and "The Breaking Point" During the tour we will extensively cover the Market Garden operations and the Battle of the Bulge to put the actions of Easy company in perspective.
