Travelling back in time to Amsterdam of WWII, we’ll experience Anne’s emotions during the dark days of the war. Using words from her diary, we will learn about Anne, the ‘secret annex’ & what she saw from her refuge. The tour ends in a cafe where you will have a drink & enter the Secret Annex via the magic of a virtual reality recreation (made by the Anne Frank Foundation). Entering through the bookcase into the hiding place you'll see that unlike the actual house, the VR house has the furniture in place, giving a feel of how it was to live there in 1942-44. When the group is complete, we do a short introduction. From Amsterdam we drive west to the bulb region. Through rural roads we see the flower fields left and right. We stop a few times to take beautiful pictures. On the way I tell stories about the tulip fields and how the farmers grow them. We are going to places where no tour busses can come!
