We start our tour by exploring the countryside of Amsterdam, then we take the ferry to the center. Our first stop on this tour is the heritage sight Zaanse Schans, a picturesque village with wooden windmills and charming green wooden houses from the 18th and 19th century lining the water, 25 minutes from Amsterdam.
