Giethoorn is by far the most romantic town of the Netherlands. Located in Overijssel in the east of the country, it is surrounded by nature and water. So much water indeed, that the village of Giethoorn doesn’t have any cars riding around. Many houses are only reachable by boat and this is exactly how the inhabitants of Giethoorn travel. Event the mail gets delivered by canoe! Explore this extraordinary water-village, float on the small canals under the linden trees while you listen to the only sound around: birds. Marvel at the old farmhouses, which thatched-roofs are centuries old. Flow underneath the idyllic wooden bridges of this picturesque town, which will make you feel as if you were in another era, in another world.

You will find out all about the tulip and learn in an interactive way about the cycle of bulb cultivation using state-of-the-art machinery and old objects (from before 1950). In the show garden, 1 million tulips are planted in 700 different varieties of tulips. All tulip varieties come from our own nursery. The show garden also has a number of special photo points for taking the perfect picture! After the Tulip Experience you will visit the amazing Keukenhof flower Gardens. Over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. The last stops are the Windmills and a local cheese and clogs factory where you will see a demonstration how clogs are made. There is a possibility to taste more than 30 different types of cheese for free! You can buy the nice cheese or you can let the cheese ship to your country if you don't have room in your suitcase. They have an automatic milking robot and if you are lucky you can see how they milk their cows automatically.

The historic royal tour takes you on a journey, exploring historic castles and palaces located in North Holland, Utrecht, and Gelderland. Away from the crowded Amsterdam city, you will be taken first to the beautiful and grand 'Paleis Het Loo'( 75 -90 minutes drive). This 17th-century summer palace was renovated and reopened in 2022. You will be able to visit the Palace, Garden and the Stables (Entrance fees included). After visiting the Paleis Het Loo, we will explore the lesser-known castles in the region of Baarn. These include Castle Groeneveld (garden/surroundings), Castle De Hooge Vuursche (view from the outside), Castle Sloterdijk (view from the outside), and a few others. Finally, we will visit the 13th-century castle Muiderslot. You can enjoy the view of the castle from the outside and if time permits and if you prefer, you can enter the castle by paying a fee of €15 PP directly. At the Keukenhof over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulip. Keukenhof is the largest flower garden in the world with early flowering varieties such as crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths and early tulips bloom at the beginning of the season. Later in the season, the later varieties bloom, including larger tulips. Throughout the season, our pavilions host magnificent flower shows. After the Keukenhof you will see a unique Dutch park called the Zaanse Schans not far from Amsterdam. Here are the most special windmills of The Netherlands such as the paint windmill, the sawmill, spices mill and peanut oil. Thereafter you will see a demonstration how Dutch clogs are made and there is a possibility to buy clogs/wooden shoes and souvenirs. The second stop will be at the Henri Willig farm where you can taste more than 30 flavors of very nice Dutch cheese for free!
