Driving through Berber villages a stop is made to take tea with a Berber family then we continue on through eucalyptus forests discovering the rugged scenery in Toubkal National Park. Included is a visit to an Argan Oil Producing shop and a hike to a beautiful waterfall. Lunch with a Berber family is offered at mid-day as an added extra.Finally, late afternoon/early evening return to Marrakech. Imlil valley is the end of the tarmac road and is a natural place to get mountain guided or the onward trek. It is a good starting point for a trekking holiday or for climbing Toubkal, the highest mountain in north Africa at 4167 metres high, on the way to Imlil village you will visit the Berber women extracting the argan oil (the unique Moroccan oil). On Saturdays you can visit the Asni Berber market walk up to the Kasbah and explore the surrounding trails, superb views along the valley of Riraya. At this point in the mountains, it becomes true Berber country. Arrival to Imlil, and you will meet a professional guide for the hike through High Atlas Mountains to get Armed village for about 1hr 30 min for going and coming back, then you will enjoy a typical lunch at a local Berber family house, then arriving to Marrakech at approximately 5pm.
