Explore Imlil as a little Berber settlement located in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, and our car drives us there. The mules and the muleteers have already been waiting for us, and after a cup of tea to celebrate our arrival, we will get started. Uphill and downhill, the trek takes us through landscapes with wonderful views of Toubkal National Park and Mount Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa. The mules transport us safely and with caution over the small roads that we pass through. On this leg of our journey, we will visit the Jewish community of Aroumd. Within these walls, in the home of a Berber family, we will break for lunch and sip mint tea.

Around 2h30 from Marrakech is the most beautiful waterfalls in Morocco. Along the way we will take a coffee break and regain the journey crossing the agricultural plain, dotted with olive groves and rapeseed fields. Classified as one of the most beautiful sites in the Middle Atlas at 1,495 m above sea level, these astonishing waterfalls of nearly 110 m in height, with their almost permanent rainbow, constitute a remarkable attraction, in the territory monkeys (or macaques) in the middle of lush greenery. The exquisitely preserved fortress stands tall along the river on the old caravan road. A hike to the top affords panoramic views and a glimpse of ancient tribal life of its age old inhabitants dating back to the 11th century. We will enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch here before our return to Marrakech in evening.
