Enjoy your day to the mountainous landscapes of the Ouirgane Valley. Leave Marrakesh to go to the Atlas. Your trip will take you to the Atlas, where you can admire the impressive views and the surrounding land. Hike to the Azzaden Valley, the most authentic valley of the Toubkal Massif. We climb to the pass of Tizi Ntacht at 2200m, beautiful view of the gorges of the National Park Toubkal; after lunch at Berber Village Tassa Ouirgane, we descend to the cultivated terraces of olive trees and apple trees. Back through the old Berber villages. Towards your departure point where your driver will be waiting for you to take you back to your Accommodation in Marrakech.

This private Day Excursion offers the chance to experience something of the Berber way of life as you walk through Berber villages and have lunch with a Berber family in their home. You walk along traditional mule tracks through small villages and admire the scenery of the Atlas mountains, including views up towards Toubkal. Typically 5 to 6 hours walking. Pick up is from your hotel in Marrakech around 9.00 for transfer to Imlil. We do not stop at stalls or shops unless, of course, you wish us to. On arrival in Imlil, you are welcomed with mint tea and introduced to your guide. He will discuss with you your interests, the time you have available and your level of fitness. As your Day Excursion is private we can adapt the excursion to some extent to suit you. Kasbah Taourirt is another fortified city around Ouarzazate.
