As the sun begins its descent on the horizon, the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, just 50 km south of Erfoud, offer a truly breathtaking panorama. Legend has it that a wealthy local family was buried beneath these immense sand mounds, as a punishment for denying hospitality to a poor woman and her son. Towering at 160 meters, these dunes rise majestically above the twin towns of Merzouga, displaying a stunning rose gold hue that sparkles in the sunlight. The waterfalls will surely be the highlight of your stay if you enjoy nature. Many people take advantage of the chance to swim in the river, but you should be aware that the water is freezing. A days walking in the Atlas. Leave riad around 9am, take the road to Asni (market on Saturday), and arrive at Imlil around 10.30am. Have tea in a nearby café then a circular walk (3/4 hours), with a local guide  and learn about the local flora and fauna. Lunch can be taken at the Kasbah du Toubkal ,  in a local restaurants  or in a local berber house . On returning to Marrakech, there is a chance to stop for tea at Kasbah Tamadot (Richard Branson’s hotel), arriving back in Marrakech around 4.30pm. Lunch and the guide  are  not included.

This private day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech is one of the best experiences you can do in one day out of Marrakech. Your day trip will start towards Essaouira around 8 a.m. The drive begins through the plains of Haouz and across the vast landscape and villages. It will be time to make the departure for Ouarzazate, this vast desert plateau which attracts visitors of all nationalities every year. In the shade of the palm trees, Ouarzazate has moved leaving behind a stony immensity swept by the winds of the Sahara. The splendid Kasbahs with their walls and adobe towers will take you to a world where time seems to have stood still. Travel from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains on a full-day trip,Our car takes us  via Tahnaout and into Moulay Brahim Gorges here we will have the Camel Ride ,After that we continue our drive to Imlil, the main base for trekking in the Toubkal National Park. We will now follow the trail, walking through gardens of walnut trees, passing the waterfall and soon arrive at Tamatert on the other bank of Mizane river, at an altitude of about 1900m. The rough-stone buildings are built terrace-style with south-facing balconies. Here we will now enjoy our well earned lunch in a Berber House at Village. Then we start our return way to Imlil, where the vehicle still waits for us to get us back to Marrakech.

Relax as you enjoy a ride through the beautiful palm oasis. You will make stop to visit a Berber house to discover the real life of local people. Here you can enjoy a snack and mint tea with the family. After that you will take your camel again to continue the ride. Take your camera out to snap some photos of the beautiful sunset as the sky changes colors through the trees. Departure 17.00h - return around 19.00h (also possible at daytime)
