Ait Benhaddou is an interesting Day Trip from Marrakech after you cross the High Atlas Mountains, Ait Benhaddou is the UNESCO site classified since 1987 where few families are still living in Ait Benhaddou, along the way you will admire the Berber Villages in the Mountains of High Atlas Village. 4km of rocky off-road along the salty Valley of Ounila to get to Ait Benhadou Kasbah, a natural decoration for many movies which were shot in the area. Day 1: We depart from Marrakech at 7:30 Am, in a minibus. Traveling over the Atlas mountains we stop at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou for a tour of the complex, where lunch can be taken at the many cafe’s. After our break, we travel into Ouarzazate (The gateway to the desert), we visit the Movie studio, our afternoon journey takes us to the Dades valley, visiting beautiful Oasis and onto the Desert town of Zagora with many opportunities for exploration and visits. For our final leg of today’s journey, we meet our Camels to take us to our Berber Zagora desert camp. Our stay at the Zagora Desert camp includes Evening meal, accommodation in traditional Berber tents and breakfast the following morning Day 2: The next day, we take our camels for the return journey back to Zagora. We then enjoy our journey back through The Draa valley to Ouarzazate, over the Atlas mountains and returning to Marrakech around 19:00hrs or 20:00 hrs.

I will pick you up from your hotel from where we will drive south towards the Moulay Brahim Gorges. In about 1h30 we will arrive at the village of Asni to visit a weekly market (Saturdays only). We will continue to the village of Imlil (1,740m), located in the upper foothills of the Western High Atlas Mountains. Here we will leave our vehicle to enjoy a welcome glass of mint tea. After your tea, our hike begins! We will walk south to the Berber village of Aroumd (1,843m) passing through hamlets. You will see Mount Toubkal, which is the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa. The views will be incredible and I will tell you all about the Berber way of life. The hike continues until we reach the village of Ait-Souka to have lunch in a Berber family's house. After lunch you will be driven back to Marrakech arriving at 4:30pm
