You will begin the visit with the guided walking tour of Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO world heritage site, which is a labyrinth of 9,600 twisting, turning alleyways and the largest urbanized pedestrian area in the world. Visit Seffarine Square where you can see and hear the metalworkers making crafts in the traditional manner using copper, brass and pewter. Continue to famous tanneries and the Al-Quarawiyyine University, the oldest university in the world and very important to Islam, sell exotic aromatic spices, walk throught vegetable market. In the morning around 9.30 am, your private driver will meet you at your Riad / hotel, and he will take you through the Middle Atlas Mountains. First, you will enjoy Dayet Aoua, a very big lake inside a national park (1460 m). Ifran, a town often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco, and then continues through the forests to meet a Troup of [macac?]. Lunch will be served in a small town called Azrou (a Berber barbecue or tajine are possible). After lunch, you can visit a small waterfall in Sefrou then visit Bhalil, the troglodyte village where mother Aicha, the owner of the very old winery welcomes you with a mint tea. Finally, return to Fez in the evening.
