This walking tour will cover many areas of the hidden Historic Heart of Puerta Vallarta. During the easy 3 hour walk, we will visit many historic neighborhoods and explore hidden staircases, paths, and hidden gardens. We will visit a cemetery, and two very Mexican traditional shopping pavilions where families shop for meats, fish, vegatables - also learn all about Tortillas at a small family factory. We will also visit the Malecon for a few blocks and walk to the lookout high above the Historic Heart of Puerto Vallarta - in season see whales! In general the guide will take you to the less visited non touristy areas of the historic district of old Town of Vallarta. At the end of the tour we will visit a distillery Co-op and learn a bit about Aqave spirits (Mescal, Tequila, and Raicilla ) and taste up to 10 different flavors and expressions.
