This is a private tour only for you for you from start to finish with private transport and guide. The pick up will be at 5 am at the address of your accommodation in Mexico City. These thermal pools are located in the state of Hidalgo, 4 hours from Mexico City. In Tolantongo we will have fun and relax in the 40 thermal pools (each one with a different and beautiful design), in the grotto and in the incredible blue river. Everything filled with thermal water. The average water temperature is around 34 - 38° C. In this tourist center we will find restaurants, shops and showers. The time in Tolantongo will be 5 hours. You will be able to take incredible photos and enjoy this nature in the middle of a great canyon.

Teotihuacan (100 BC - 800 AD) is of one of the most important cities of America and one of the most prominent cultures in universal history with strong influence. You will visit these prehispanic remains made centuries before the Aztec empire in Tenochtitlán (the actual Mexico city). This is an amazing and magic archaeological zone with 3 amazing pyramids and a little museum. The Pyramid of the Sun is the 8th largest in the world. This prehispanic city reached its maximum splendor approximately between 200 - 400 AD and it extended over 2000 acres, with an estimated population of 120 000 inhabitants. Teotihuacan was the largest city in Mesoamerica and the most important for trading. Without doubt, Teotihuacan is an example of greatness, a smart urban settlement and cultural wealth.

Our day-long tour starts on the water, as we ride our own trajinera– a festively-decorated flat-bottom boat used by locals to traverse the canals – through part of the ecological reserve that is particularly rich in flora and fauna. As the boat glides through the canals that connect the chinampas, we’ll have an onboard family-style meal made using local ingredients and learn about the thousand-years-old local agricultural method that’s still used to feed nearby Mexico City today. Along the way, we’ll stop at a working chinampa to meet a local farmer and find out more about the distinctive local way of life and work.

Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays: We will meet at a bar in Roma nighborhood, where we will talk about Lucha Libre and we will drink a Mezcal After we will go a traditional Tacos stand. Where you will eat like a real Chilango. You will taste the mythical “Campechano” and the traditional “Pastor”. We have vegan and vegetarian options. Saturdays: We will meet at a Mezcaleria at Centro Histórico (Downtown) where will taste different Mezcales. Then we will go to a Taqueria. Where you will eat like a local.
