The Private Tour in Kuala Lumpur The Cameron Highlands areas was originally discovered in 1885 by William Cameron, a British government Surveyor who came across, "A fine plateau with gentle slopes, shut in by loftier mountains", whilst hacking a path up through dense jungle on a mapping expedition.
