Mantanani Island is a group of three isolated islands northwest of Kota Belud, a one-hour drive from Kota Kinabalu. Although only approximately an hour's boat rides by speedboat from the mainland, the islands were only known to a few locals. Time slows down there amidst the crystal clear blue waters lapping on white sandy beaches. Three wrecks have been discovered which still hold plenty of secrets and are now home to a menagerie of marine creatures such as Lionfish, Scorpionfish, octopus, glassfish and many species of rays flutter around like blue spotted ray and marbled sting ray amongst large schools of fish. The coral reefs surrounding the islands have plenty to offer, for both novice and experienced diver even snorkeling too. There are now 16 dive sites been identified by Mantanani Island Resort with many more still to be explore. The island promises the most diverse marine life with visibility up to 40 metres.

Kota Kinabalu, the gateway to the rest of Sabah, is also the state capital. It has a population of approximately 300,000 and is usually called 'KK' for short. On this tour you will view the Puh Toh Tze (Chinese Buddhist temple) with a huge status of Kuan Yin (her goddess of mercy), Atkinson Clock Tower (one of the most enduring landmarks stands prominently on a bluff along Signal Hill), photo stop at City Mosque, shopping at Cocoa Boutique where you can find our local chocolate and enjoy some leisure time mingling with the local people at the (Filipino Market) Handicraft market before proceed back to hotel.

Depart from the city hotel. The journey to Kinabalu Park takes about 1½ hours drive through scenic countryside and beautiful mountain range. On the way, stop by at the Nabalu Fruit Market to buy some fruits and souvenir.

Located in Tamparuli about an hour’s drive from Kota Kinabalu City, the beautiful St. Veronica’s Hill towers over the rustic Tamparuli town and surrounding villages at 278 meters above sea level.  The locals of Sabah call it Bukit Perahu, which means “Hill Boat” in Malay, because of an inverted boat-shaped rock that sits near the summit’s clearing. St. Veronica’s Hill offers a leisure trek up to the peak on a rocky terrain.   While the majority of the trail leads through trees and bushes, occasional shrub openings towards the top afford a splendid bird’s eye view.    In the early morning, a sunrise hike will be rewarded with a spectacular view of Mount Kinabalu overlooking the misty low lands - giving you a true “Top of the World” experience! The village is located at Kionsom, Inanam about 25 minutes away from the city. Rafflesia Rainforest Reserve is undoubtedly the best place to see the world's biggest flower; it is located in Crocker Range near the village of Tambunan, approximately 1 hour drive from Kota Kinabalu. This park is dedicated to rafflesia, world’s largest bloom. The park has nearly twelve different species of the flower and the species can be found only in Sumatra and Borneo. Rafflesia is parasitic in nature and grows in the jungle vine stems. However, the blooms grow up to a size covering one meter in its diameter. The reserve at Sabah has several species that are found uniquely in Sabah.

Join this tour for a White Water Rafting adventure on the Kiulu River that will suit those looking for a moderately adventurous and relaxing experience. You will travel north of Kota Kinabalu to Kiulu River, passing by beautiful scenic countryside and the rural town of Tamparuli. Upon arrival you will receive a short safety briefing before beginning your adventure! When the water is high, the furthest you can raft is up to 15kms. When the water is low you can enjoy a 7km distance. The grade of this river is between 1 and 2. Deep pools punctuate the river rapids, allowing you plenty of opportunities to indulge in body rafting or swimming! The journey will take up to 1.5 hours and is finished off with a delicious BBQ lunch before returning to the city.
