A well explained visit at the monastery of St. Cosmas and Damian is also included in the trip, along with a walk around the winery and cellar. In one day, we will be able to experience a piece of the culture and natural beauty of both Albania and Greece. We will explore Korca in Albania and Kastoria in Greece, two beautiful and very different towns. Our first stop for the day will be the town of Korca, a small town, that is turning out to be one modern town in Albania, while the traces of communist isolation are still visible. We will be able to visit the Museum of Medival art, with some of the most beautiful preserved Medival objects from the surrounding. After the Korca sightseeing, we will continue our way to Greece in the town of Kastoria. Kastoria lies on the shores of the Orestiada lake, where you can see the most beautiful scenes of pelicans and cormorants swimming around. You can have lunch or a coffee break in some of the restaurants and cafes on the lake shores. We have a chance to visit the Cave of the Dragon on a guided tour. If the weather allows it, we can make the return trip through Galichica National Park.

I will introduce you how the ingredients can be made at home. In the past times people didn't have many ingredients and used their skills to make the best possible meal. The most important thing in Macedonian cuisine is that the dishes are made from only a few ingredients and you must use your imagination to make the testiest dish from the available products. Vegetarians are welcomed. Please let me know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.

Riding ATV through whole national park Galicica is truly a spectacular experience that you will never forget. The beginning of the tour is gaining 300 m on asphalt road that leads to the village of Velestovo. As we leave the village the asphalt turns in rocky road uphill until we reach the Krstec peak 1600 m.a.s.l. Then the ride turns into a real dancing through the highlands of Asandjura. Once we reach the Asandjura hut we will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch together. After the break we pass under Tomoros peak and the forgotten ski lifts until we hit the asphalt again. On this point we will be blessed with spectacular views of Prespa Lake and moments later a bird's eye view of Lake Ohrid and Albania in the background. While moving down we leave the National park and continue riding by the lake to the starting point in Ohrid. This tour covers approx. 70 km in a loop without backtracking, offering you the chance to see variety of Mother Nature’s masterpieces.
