Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe that settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Upon arrival, you will begin the trip on horseback to the canyon to the so-called Siq, and then by foot to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Morning pick up from Amman hotel, drive north to Jerash (Gerasa), one of the Roman Decapolis the best-preserved city outside Roman and visit its theaters, temples, churches and colonnaded streets. And then drive down to Rabad Castle (Ajloun Castle) you will visit the Islamic military castle of Ajloun, the castle was used by the Islamic armies of Saladin to protect the region against the crusaders. Then you will begin the one-hour drive to the Dead Sea. Being the lowest point on earth and filled with a variety of minerals with medicinal properties the site has developed into a health spa-like hotspot. The mineral concentration in the mud is used for therapeutic and beauty treatments. Queen Cleopatra and Sheba both were said to have known the value of the site and used it. Due to high salinity, the water supports no form of life hence the name the Dead Sea and floating is very easy. Be sure to prepare to swim and relax in the mud before heading back to Amman.

You will be picked up from Amman or Airport to a 5 stars resort at the Dead Sea. You will have free time at the resort and you will be able to use most of the resort facilities including Mud bath, private closet, clean towels, clean beach access, swimming pools and the price also includes an open buffet Lunch in the resort restaurant. So in general you can use most of the resort facilities except of rooms and Spa which is available in a good price. After you finish you will be dropped off back to Amman or Airport (any location you want exactly). Dropping off to a different location (not Amman or Airport) is available upon request with a price difference.
