You will meet your guide at Shinjuku Station and ride the train together: you will reach Kamakura with the popular Enoden train line along the coast, with a day pass that you will be able to use again after the end of the tour! You will visit Hase-dera , also known as the temple of flowers: here you will explore a gorgeous garden, caves, Buddhist halls and a panoramic terrace on the bay. You will then move on to the city symbol, the Great Buddha of the Kotoku-in Temple: you will remain speechless standing in front of this majestic statue and will have enough time to behold all its details! Finally, you will ride the Enoden once again to reach Kamakura station and walk along the lively Komachi Street up to Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu, where the deity of war is enshrined: here you will understand the importance of the samurai government for Kamakura's history. The tour will end by this shrine and you will be free to spend the afternoon around Kamakura or choose one of the options.

This is a fully customizable tour, so we can see the sights that you want to see. Itinerary will be set up via email. (including true crime) We can also do a general Tokyo highlights tour if you are interested in that. If you would like to go to a few places in a day, then we can do that time permitting. If you are a foodie and you would like to try three dinners in an evening, that can be arranged. Food and drinks are not included in the price of the tour.

You can experience repairing broken objects using the traditional lacquering technique KINTSUGI. You will approach the WABI-SABI, which is viewed as a variety of beauty woven by changes without negatively accepting dirty or chipped vessels as deterioration. Please bring your ceramics or porcelain that you would like to repair. If you don’t, please let us know. (Only two items per person due to storage space limitations.) We will glue the broken pieces with lacquer. It takes about a week for it to harden as we use natural lacquer. If you would like to continue the process, please make a reservation after one week. Overseas travelers can send vessels in the process of being worked on by EMS. (Shipping cost is additional) KINTSUGI kit is available for purchase. ＊Please note: It won't be completed in one session. Natural lacquer can cause inflammation if it comes into contact with the skin. Always ensure that you wear gloves when using it.
