Hands-on cooking classes will be held at our Japanese cuisine restaurant "Tokitarazu" in Hiroo, which is an upscale residential area in Tokyo. Our instructor, who has mastery of Kaiseki cuisine, will guide you step by step how to make the dishes and decorate the plates. Specifically, you will learn, e.g., how to make Dashi (soup stock), how to cook rice, and how to use cooking utensils and prepare ingredients, so even beginner chefs can have a great time!  You will also enjoy sake tasting. The class will be held in English and/or Japanese.

This tour is a day trip to Mt. Fuji from Tokyo in a comfortable private minivan accompanied and driven by a qualified tour guide. You can enjoy the beautiful Mt. Fuji from the foothills. The basic course is as follows. Mt. You can experience repairing broken objects using the traditional lacquering technique KINTSUGI. You will approach the WABI-SABI, which is viewed as a variety of beauty woven by changes without negatively accepting dirty or chipped vessels as deterioration. Please bring your ceramics or porcelain that you would like to repair. If you don’t, please let us know. (Only two items per person due to storage space limitations.) We will glue the broken pieces with lacquer. It takes about a week for it to harden as we use natural lacquer. If you would like to continue the process, please make a reservation after one week. Overseas travelers can send vessels in the process of being worked on by EMS. (Shipping cost is additional) KINTSUGI kit is available for purchase. ＊Please note: It won't be completed in one session. Natural lacquer can cause inflammation if it comes into contact with the skin. Always ensure that you wear gloves when using it.
