On this Japan Autumn & Winter Illuminations Discovery Tour (12 days), visit the most iconic locations in Japan that is the ideal trip for first-time travelers with an English-speaking tour guide. Stay in 3 – 4 Star overnight accommodations and travel in style with Shinkansen (bullet-train) with combination of private bus or vehicle. This tour is for a group of no more than 26 people. If we have 15 or fewer guests, we will be unable to conduct the Standard Tour. This Japan Autumn & Winter Illuminations Discovery Tour is an extension of the Japan Discovery Tour. The tour will cover the same cities as the Japan Discovery Tour, but will include Kobe City and other scenic spots for Autumn Foliage and Winter Illuminations throughout the route (the time at some attractions in the Japan Discovery Tour will be shortened to accommodate additional attractions on this tour)..

Japanese culture begins with hospitality. You will tour sumo related facilities and other cultural facilities in Tokyo in an elegant manner with a dedicated driver-guide and a luxury car. First, you will be photographed in a Japanese kimono at a lounge in Ginza. You will go sightseeing in original Global Kimono. The Global Kimono will be given to you as a souvenir from us. In the morning, we will observe the serious training of active sumo wrestlers in the Yamahyo Room, view the history of sumo and the glory of past yokozuna at the Sumo Museum, and stop by the Ryogoku Goodwill and Sumo Sundry Shop to fully enjoy sumo culture. For lunch, enjoy chanko-nabe, a famous meal for sumo wrestlers. In the afternoon, you will visit the Sword Museum to experience the culture of swords and the Hokusai Museum to experience the culture of ukiyo-e prints. Afterwards, we will take you back to the place of your choice in Tokyo.
