The tour starts every day from Naples. After the second stop in Pompeii to pick up the last passengers, the driver will take you to the slopes of the volcano where you will stop at a restaurant with a breathtaking view.
Here you will have the opportunity to taste wines, typical of the area, accompanied by inviting local products. The Vesuvius area is still characterized today by the presence of indigenous grape varieties.

This tour focus on the visit of the two main archaeological sites of the region: Pompeii and Herculaneum, the ancient roman cities swept away by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. Considered of great importance for the Roman Empire, they were at their social and economic peak at the time of the disaster. The main difference between the two places is that Pompeii was a bustling city, gateway for merchants and travellers, while the latter was more of a residential village for aristocrats and intellectuals. Next, we will visit Piazza San Domenico Maggiore, home to the beautiful church of the same name, and then wander through the famous Spaccanapoli, a narrow street that cuts through the heart of the historic center. We will make a stop at the iconic Via S. Gregorio Armeno, before continuing on to the impressive Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta. Then then head to the fortified Castel Capuano, which now houses the courthouse, and the nearby Porta Capuana, a historic gate that was once part of the city walls. We will end our journey at Piazza Enrico de Nicola, where the grand Castel Capuano dominates the skyline, offering stunning views of the city.
