No previous riding experience required. The day will start with a horseback ride, a few minutes of preparation in the ring will precede the 1-hour ride on horseback held on a spectacular country trail. A professional instructor will lead the guests in the knowledge of the basics of equitation and their equine companions according to the level of experience of each and for the total enjoyment of the ride. The relaxation around the pool for the rest of the day will follow the ride. For lunch -served under the veranda at 1.00pm.- the guests will taste local freshly-made pasta plate, a wide choice of cheeses, coldcuts, bruschettas, Chianti wine and water. Veg guests are also welcome. Sunbathing, relaxation, good food and a few swims will make the guests experience the Florence rolling hills immersed in nature for a whole day, away from the city crowd. At the end of the afternoon a visit to a local producer of olive oil and Chianti wine will be possible before returning to Florence.

I'm an artist and master jeweller, art lover and food passioned, I still haven’t decided yet what I’m going to do when I grow up, meanwhile (since 1982) I design jewels and I like teach jewelry-making. In 2013 I was appointed Master of Art by Tuscany Govt. I always like meeting new people, find new inspirations, sharing my knowledge... and telling stories about my work and my city. The ancient cuttlefish bone casting technique, already known by the Egyptians more than 2000 years ago, is one of my favorites is one of my favourites and it's easy to learn. The cuttlefish bone is easy to carve to make a mold that will be filled with melted silver. After my instuctions it will be your turn to project and carve the bone into the shape of your own jewel. You will make your personalized pendant or ring, choosing from the proposed models; I will help individually to reach the best result. In the mold just carved I will cast the melted silver and you'll see immediately the rough jewel.
