In the evening enjoy a delicious “jungle dinner“ on your campsite, then dream away to the melodies of the rainforest and wake up in the morning to the sounds of birds and monkeys. Unlike other providers in Bukit Lawang, our sustainable jungle treks and selected Sumatra tours focus on quality and safety rather than quantity. This is why our team has been awarded several times over the past few years e.g. “Eco Friendly Tour Operator of the Year 2018”, “Travel & Hospitality Award Winner” and received the “Hall Of Fame Status” (2019) and "Travellers Choice" (2020/2021) on TripAdvisor.

" We Are Local Company"
Behind its beauty, Pusuk Buhit keeps a legend. In the mythology of the Batak Tribe, Puncak Pusuk Buhit is the origin of the tribe. The Batak people believe that Pusuk Buhit was the birthplace of the Batak king.
Then the king built a village in one of the valleys called Sianjur Mula-mula. This village was the beginning of the spread of the Batak tribe to various regions. You can also learn about the legend from the local community
This mountain has an altitude of about 1972 meters above sea level surrounded by several districts such as Sianjur Mula-Mula, Harian Boho, and Pangururan. At the top you are rewarded with beautiful views of the lake, samosir island, mountains and waterfalls! The hike took 3 hours up and 2 hour back down. I think anyone of average fitness would be able to reach the summit and it's a very enjoyable hike.
