As the second highest peak visible from Dehradun, Top Tibba (Tibba means Mountain in Garwhali) is a beautiful trek located on the east of Suakholi village near Mussoorie. Kedarkantha is a famous trek. The trek provides a great opportunity for trekkers to see the scenic beauty and experience the life of remote villages of Garhwal Himalayas. Kedarkantha Trek lies in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The drive to Sankri (From where the Kedarkantha trek starts) is one of the most picturesque drives in the Himalayas through Mussoorie, Purola, Mori, Netwar, Motwat along the Tons River. Kedarkantha trek is one the easiest treks in the Himalayas to enjoy thick snow cover. The Kedarkantha trek campsite is great for birding and surrounded by beautiful snow peaks.

You'll begin your day early, at around 7 or 8 in the morning. You'll be picked up and transported to Neelkanth in a private vehicle. On the way there, you'll have the chance to see Patna waterfalls. Once you arrive at the temple, the driver will return to Rishikesh. From that point, you'll hike and trek through the National Park back to Rishikesh.
You can get back to Rishikesh by hiking through the Rajaji National Park ( wildlife sanctuary ). En-route, you can visit the Mouni Baba cave, where you will get a chance to interact with a Hindu Naga Sadhu. The Naga Sadhu has been living in the cave since childhood and will be happy to answer any questions you have about the experience.
Visit Mindrolling Monastery situated 30 miles away from Rishikesh. This monastery is one of the six that belongs to the 17th century Nyingma school of Buddhism with its roots in Tibet. Spend a morning in quiet contemplation at the monastery before heading back to Rishikesh, in time for the spectacular Ganga Aarti (prayers to the River Ganges) that takes place everyday after dusk.

This campsite is located at an altitude of 1700 m, in Koruwa village, near Chakrata. The campsite is encircled by farm terraces and overlooks the leafy valley of Amla river. Located at just 30 minutes drive from Chakrata, your campsite is a perfect place to spend secluded time in the mountain. Also, there are a few scenic and challenging hiking sites in and around Chakrata.
